MEDIA RELEASE - MONDAY, 24 SEPTEMBER 2012 Goodearth & Perth Ambassador Hotels welcome new Executive Chef The Goodearth and Perth Ambassador Hotels are delighted to announce the appointment of Wili Fernandez as the new Executive Chef of Adelaide's on the Terrace Restaurant at the Goodearth Hotel and Café 196 at the Perth Ambassador Hotel. Wili’s passion for food started at the age of 14 and his culinary career now spans 19 years, with experience throughout Australia, Asia, Middle East, Europe and the United States of America. Wili has held previous Executive Chef and Sous Chef positions at a number of prestigious hotels, resorts and international cruise ships. He has worked for Cunard Line's Queen Elizabeth II, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Mantra Group, The Esplanade Hotel Port Hedland, Shangri-La Manila and The Regency Kuwait, a luxury beach hotel, where he was responsible for the production and service of over 15,000 meals per day. Only two weeks into the job and Wili is already adding his creative flair to the restaurant and banquet menus to further enhance guest experiences. When asked what his goals are for the upcoming months, he said: "To create innovative and fresh new concepts with dining offers that will stimulate, capture and captivate the local Perth market". As part of this vision, the new restaurant and bar menus will be launched from 24th September 2012.
